Since releasing their debut EP entitled Lust in Demons in 2013, Los Angeles-based metal band Legal Tender has been pretty active on their local Hollywood scene.
Fans able to attend the live shows have had the opportunity to catch a few new songs, one of which is the single “Swallow Your Soul.” Recently, Legal Tender dropped an official music video for the track, which features guitarist Frankie Lindia shredding on his Charvel So-Cal.

At the this year’s NAMM Show, representatives from the Music Zoo got Guthrie Govan together with Charvel Master Builder Chip Ellis to talk about the Aristocrats axeman’s new signature guitar.
The two discussed the unique aspects of the model, in addition to some of the challenges that they overcame to get to the final masterpiece.
In addition, Govan will appear at the Music Zoo in Roslyn, N.Y., on Feb. 23 at 6 p.m. to host a clinic and gear demo. The virtuoso guitarist will also participate in an interview moderated by Guitar World contributing editor and columnist Andy Aledort and a meet-and-greet with fans.

British hard-rockers Skarlett Riot has released a new video for the track “Rising.”
The single comes off the band’s latest EP, We Are the Brave, which comes out Feb. 16.

Stone Sour guitarist Christian Martucci recently sat down with representatives from ENGL Amps to talk about why he wanted to use the Retro Tube 50 head during his band’s live shows.
In addition, he runs through a song he put together with Stone Sour drummer Roy Mayorga and Strung Out bassist Chris Aiken while wielding a beautiful ash Charvel guitar.
